( 2025 ) This year marks 150 years since H.C. Andersen passed away. And in the poet’s hometown, such a milestone is far from quiet. Although Andersen is no longer with us, his works continue to thrive - from Nr. Nebel to New Delhi, and this calls for a celebration. From August 4, 2025, Andersen’s works will be brought to life anew in Odense through exhibitions, performances, interactive installations, and conversations. FUHR STUDIO has created the art direction, concept, visual identity, graphic design, animation, and core narrative for the commemoration, which we call “ANDERSEN FOREVER, marking the 150th anniversary of H.C. Andersen’s death.” In the expression, we have highlighted life and hope in dialogue with death and darkness. And imagine, even today we can reflect ourselves in Andersen’s words, because his timeless works are more than just good stories. They are reflections on existential questions. That is precisely why it is meaningful to mark the 150th anniversary of his passing.
