( 2016 ) SPACE10, IKEA’s research and design lab, explores how we might live, work and eat in the future. The lab combines foresight, experimentation and cultural insight to create projects that challenge conventional thinking about urban life, sustainability and community. Fuhr Studio worked with SPACE10 to develop visual identity, art direction, graphic design and digital communication. The design system reflects the lab’s experimental and forward-thinking approach, while maintaining clarity, structure and a human touch. Through typography, colour and visual language, the identity supports SPACE10’s mission to inspire curiosity, encourage new ideas and make complex concepts tangible. The result is a flexible visual framework that adapts across installations, presentations, reports and digital platforms, reflecting the lab’s innovative and people-focused approach.
